Just got a new mixer for the bar (the veteran Vestax PMC-06 finally crapped out on someone mid-set...), an Allen & Heath Xone 22. A&H are based just up the road which is pretty sweet, and we're fairly kitted out with their products already - got a ZED14 for live stuff and a Xone 92 as our house master mixer - so getting a little 2-channel unit from them made a lot of sense.

IT IS SO WELL BUILT. I've grown used to playing on my Kontrol S4, which is sort of regarded as being pretty sturdy... but compared to this it feels like any other cheap bit of plastic. Makes me want to change my whole set up and the way I play. If only I wasn't so dependent on digital...
